The rocky shape of volcanic origin of Pantelleria makes it the perfect place for those who love the sea, the fishing, the trekking, the biking and the underwater photography.
Among its peculiarities there are the hot springs of the Nicà Sea, the natural sauna of Benikulà on the slopes of the Montagna Grande, the hot waters of many natural caves and the mud in the lake Specchio di Venere.
Day 1
Arrival, check-in in hotel, welcome cocktail and briefing.
Day 2 – Panoramic excursion
Breakfast, departure to discover Pantelleria and its beauties. This excursion is the first leg of a good knowledge of the island. This consists in a perimeter route, accompanied by a guide, with many stops in the most important places at historic and panoramic level.
The first stop is the wonderful Lago di Venere and the underlying Contrada Bugeber for enjoying the panorama. The route continues to the Cala Gadir, a small fishing port famous for its hot springs.
It proceeds to the splendid Cala Levante and its stack, up to reach the majestic Arch of Elephant. After few kilometres you will admire the panoramas of the Balata dei Turchi (which is volcanic flat space dominated by a shore made of pumice) and the magnificent cliff of Saltolavecchia. It continues to the Contrada di Scauri for the lunch based on typical Zero-Km products in a lively restaurant of the area. After the lunch, the route goes to the Baia Scauri to first visit the Cala dei Gabbiani, and then the Santuario della Madonna delle Grazie. The day ends with the visit of the Archeologic Park of Sesi. Return to the hotel.

Day 3 – The lake path
(Trekking 5 hours lasting + picnic)
Departure with a private coach to Kattibuale where the trekking will start. By passing through a Roman path, you will reach the Cala Cinque Denti, wonderful volcanic cove featuring the thousands of colours of the sea. The path continues to the Lave del Khaggiar, with the visit to the lake Laghetto delle Ondine, where you can bathe. Then you will reach the Museum of Volcanology.
After visiting the Museum, you will take the Contrada di Bugeber stopping at local farm in an ancient dammuso for lunch (drinks included). Then you will leave for the lake Specchio di Venere for a restoring bath in its hot springs followed by a healing mud. The route ends by running along the lake where you will see in a nearby stables the typical donkey of Pantelleria, already becoming animal of cult. In close proximity, the coach will be ready to pick you up to go back to the hotel.

Day 4 – Montagna Grande
(Trekking 6 hours lasting + picnic)
The coach will take you to the Contrada Sibà, where the new adventure will begin. Firstly, you will visit the Byzantine Church of the Black Madonna, and then after one hour walking you will reach Kuddia Mida (591m), the only one crater with active fumaroles.
Then the route continues to the Montagna Grande (836m), which after one hour walking will make you admire the amazing panorama from above and give you the opportunity to visit the close Grotta dei Briganti. Then you will go down to the picnic area for a lunch based on Pantelleria products. After the siesta you will take another path to go back to Contrada Sibà which leads you a panoramic path which will make you discover the Piana di Monastero, the Byzantine Tombs and the Contrada Scauri where you will visit the only one Capperificio (where capers are processed) in the island and where the coach will pick you up.

Day 5 – Boat ride around the island*
This excursion is ideal for discovering new landscapes, coves beaches and other places reachable only by sea. Thanks to this excursion, you will admire the astonishing Scarpetta di Cenerentola (crater-shape cove), the Arch of Elephant, the Grotte dei Turchi the bizarre and particular Faraglioni del Formaggio, the Spiaggia degli innamorati, the underwater hot springs of Cala Nicà, the Dinosauro di lava rossa, and many other beauties of the nature. During the trekking, food and drinks will be provided. The boat is equipped with awning, cushions, toilette and snorkeling accessories.
SCHEDULE: Boarding at 9:30am a return around 5pm.

Day 6 – Le Favare and Monte Gibele
(Trekking 6 hours lasting + picnic)
The coach will take you to Contada Sibà where the trekking will begin with a new engaging itinerary: you will visit the Grotta Benikulà, already known during Roman age; once there you will have a restoring natural sauna. The path continues to the Passo del Vento and after one hour walking you will reach the forts of the II World War at the Fossa del Russo (429m), a little volcanic crater. Then the route continues to the Favare, huge fumaroles, close to the ruins of an ancient village.
After half an hour walking, you will reach the Monte Gibele (715m), another huge crater. You will be surprised by its wide variety of vegetation. After a picnic break, the path continues to an impressive Carthaginian waterworks and then you will finally reach the contrada di Rekale where the coach will pick you up to come back to the hotel.
SCHEDULE: Departure at 9:00am and return around 6:00pm.
Day 7 – Piana Ghirlanda – Gelfiser
(Trekking 6 hours lasting + picnic)
The last day the coach will take you to Serraglia. You will walk along a rout around Kuddia Attalora, a big crater where Zibibbo grapes are produced, and after one hour walking, you will visit an observatory of the II World War. Later you will reach the imposing Piana Ghirlanda where you will have a picnic in a typical agritourism. In the afternoon, you will take an ancient naturalistic mule track, which will lead you to the most ancient contrada of the island: Mueggen.
From this point, after around two hours walking you will reach the Lave del Gelfiser (thousand-year old crater of outstanding natural beauty). Here, near the narrow contrada San Vito you will find the coach that will take you to hotel.

Day 8
End of the services.
*For the trekking days there will be a coach guaranteeing the outward and return from the starting point to the hotel.
